  8. AddThis

We have integrated components of AddThis on our website. AddThis is a bookmarking provider.
The service permits simplified bookmarking of websites by buttons.
Moving over the AddThis component with your mouse or clicking it will display a list of bookmarking and sharing services.

The operator of AddThis is AddThis, Inc. 1595 Spring Hill Road, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA.

By calling up one of the individual pages of our website on which an AddThis component has been integrated the respective AddThis component will automatically cause the web browser on the end device of the data subject to download data from the website www.addthis.com.
Within the context of this technical procedure, AddThis will gain knowledge of the visit and the operating system used by the data subject.
Furthermore, AddThis will gain knowledge of the internet protocol address of the computer system used by the data subject, the browser type, the browser language, the website called before our website, the date and time of your visit to our website.
AddThis uses these data in order to compile anonymised user profiles.
The data and information thus transmitted to AddThis enable the company AddThis itself and any companies affiliated with AddThis and its partner companies to contact the visitors of the websites of the controller for processing specifically with personalised and interest-related advertisements.

AddThis displays personalised and interest-related advertisements based on a cookie set by the company.
This cookie analyses the individual surfing behaviour of the computer system used by the data subject.
The cookie stores the outbound visits to websites of the computer system.

The data subject may prevent setting of cookies by our website as already presented above, at any time, by making the corresponding setting in the web browser used and thereby permanently object to setting of cookies.
This setting of the browser used also prevents AddThis from placing a cookie on the end device of the data subject.
Furthermore, cookies already set by AddThis may be erased at any time via a browser or other software programs.

The data subject further has the option of permanently objecting to processing of personal data by AddThis.
For this, the data subject must push the opt-out button under the link http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out that sets an opt-out cookie.
The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on the information-technology system used by the data subject. If the cookies are deleted from the system of the data subject after an objection, the data subject needs to call the link again and set a new opt-out cookie.

The applicable provisions on data protection by AddThis can be called up at http://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy.

The processing activities serve for the purposes of our legitimate interest in improving user experience and to preserve security of use (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
